I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God given you in Christ Jesus, for in every way you have been enriched in him ... 1 Corinthians 1:4-5

Paul wrote this letter in Ephesus to the church in Corinth.
Corinth was one of the largest cities in the Roman world and also one of the most corrupt and sinful. Paul is reminding them, that as Christians, God has already changed their hearts [Romans 6:1-14; Galatians 5:22-25]. The blessings they received should not be minimized, denied or abused.

I love the way the Arches cold press surface receives the watercolors. The text was hand lettered on Arches smooth watercolor paper which gives smoother crisper edges on the letters. These were scanned at a high resolution and combined in photoshop to create the digital file.
