Text: Luke 24:13-35
The design has a meandering path suggesting a journey. The introductory words of the text begin the path in the lower left. Jesus met up with two friends on the road to Emmaus and discussed current events with them, specifically the recent crucifixion and death of Jesus. At one point in the text, the men realize it was the risen Lord Jesus with whom they had been talking.
The major emphasis is the group of stacked words, were not our hearts burning within us. Can you discover the word behind the stacked words? The flourishes or flames are the letters that spell hearts.

About Judy Dodds
My fascination with the power of ‘thoughts made visible’ and the mystery of the word as a vehicle of communication has led me on a wonderful journey as I merge message and technique with watercolor, brush and pen into a finished piece. Each piece brings exploration, inspiration and discovery — on a concrete level as I work with my tools and experience; on a spiritual level as a passionate heart treasures God. My response to life’s journey is to work with words, be inspired by great texts, express the abstract more tangibly and ... listen ... for God's still, small, gentle voice within the cacophony of the ups and downs, joys and sorrows experienced. In this relationship God comes transforming, with hope-full and wonderful surprises!
